Beyond the Blue

from Hebridean Suite by Mike Cavanagh

/

about

Long, slow, somewhat discordant bass notes meant to give a deep dark feel – as per the depths of the ocean at the edge of where light penetrates. Various strange noises to mimic/ evoke the strange creatures that dwell at these depths. Re-occurring heartbeats that crescendo at the end to evoke a final rapid rise from the deeps.
